Where does your markup trip people up?

Since June 2025 the European Accessibility Act applies to a large part of online retail – and regardless of the law, every missing label excludes people from buying. This check reads the delivered HTML of a page and reports the barriers that can reliably be detected there: missing alt text, unlabelled form fields, broken heading hierarchies, vague link text, blocked zoom. Every finding names its WCAG success criterion and the way to fix it.

What this tool is – and what it is not

The check is a technical snapshot of the delivered HTML. Only a portion of the WCAG criteria can be tested automatically; contrast, keyboard operation, focus visibility and screen reader flow remain manual work and are explicitly marked as such here. A good result is therefore NOT proof of accessibility, not a conformity statement under the European Accessibility Act or EN 301 549 – and not legal advice.

Exactly this page is checked. The pages of the buying journey make the most sense: home, category, product, cart, checkout.

The check fetches the given page once and evaluates its markup. Results are cached for up to 1 hour; page content is not stored permanently.
